Founder background and visionary
Jesica R.
Founder,
Meet Reyne Jesica Supit, the creative force behind our gallery. Born and raised in the lush surroundings of Tomohon, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, Jesica's journey into the art world began early.
At just seven years old, she was already participating in drawing competitions, showcasing a natural talent for art that only grew stronger with time. In high school, Jesica's skills were trusted by her classmates, leading her to design class t-shirts, decorate event spaces, and manage the class board. Her teenage years were further enriched by the influence of her grand cousin, whose passion for music and streetwear opened Jesica's eyes to new worlds of creativity. She taught herself photography and visual design, began painting on canvas, and even turned her art into a business. By 2012, she was running an online customized sneaker venture, all while pursuing an Economics Management degree, which she completed in 2015. Jesica's professional journey then took her to Jakarta, where she gained valuable experience in the corporate world until 2019.
In 2020, amidst the transformative times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jesica returned to her roots in Tomohon and embarked on a new entrepreneurial journey with her brother, opening a burger café that quickly transitioned from online sales to a dine-in favorite. Her entrepreneurial spirit caught the attention of a digital agency, and soon she was back in Jakarta, later joining a Singaporean company as a digital marketing executive. This remote role allowed Jesica the freedom to travel, explore art, and meet diverse artists worldwide, sparking her imagination and broadening her perspective.
Visionary
By 2024, New York City became Jesica's new playground, fueling her motivation as she witnessed young creatives building communities and brands. Inspired, she decided to leave her digital marketing career behind to create a platform for artists, aiming to elevate local talent to both national and global stages. Jesica dreams of establishing a physical gallery in her hometown, hosting art events that foster collaboration and inspiration. She welcomes artists and collaborators with open arms, hoping to inspire people of all ages to pursue their passions and dreams, offering them a space to grow, learn, and thrive within the local art community.
