Ifli Hamzah

Born and raised in Manado, Indonesia, Iflih (Ifli hamzah) has been in love with
art since he was young and seriously started painting in early 2020. Graduated
as Bachelor of Pharmacy from Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of
Universitas Sam Ratulangi in 2018. Despite the medical study he took at the
uni, he keeps on doing art to fill the days. His explorative journey landed at
abstract style.
Iflih is an abstract artist mostly working on mixed-media. He often brings issues
to his paintings such as women discrimination, climate change, mental health
and human-nature relationship on canvas and paper media. He believes that
artists have privilege to emerge these issues up to the public spaces. His
paintings have been exhibited in local group exhibitions held collectively by
independent communities.
